Rummy options
With LudiCash, Rummy becomes even more exciting, thanks to a range of options to maximize your gaming pleasure. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, you're sure to find options and game modes to suit your preferences.
Turbo mode
If you play fast, really fast... and don't need a lot of time to choose which card to discard or draw, then turbo mode is for you. Enjoy reduced playing time to multiply your games and put your opponent under pressure.
KO mode
KO mode eliminates the risk of games dragging on and on. The winner of the round wins the game, as it only takes one point scored by your opponent for the game to end.
Mystery mode
Do you prefer to keep your identity a secret so that your opponent can't analyze your playing style? Or maybe you just like to play one game after another without spending time in chat? Then Mystery Mode is perfect for you, allowing you to play completely incognito.
Mystery mode
At LudiCash, you can choose to play online Rummy without a joker. Forget about lucky opponents who expose their cards thanks to their jokers. With No Joker mode, you can enjoy a game of Rummy where the luck factor is reduced to a minimum.
Two variations of the Rummy game on our platform
We offer two distinct versions of Rummy, each with its own characteristics, so that everyone can find the variant that suits them best: Rummy 30 and Rummy 51.
Rummy 30
In Rummy 30, you can reveal your cards as soon as one or more of your combinations reaches a minimum of 30 points. There’s no need to form a straight, and you can, for example, reveal your cards with a trio of 10s.
Additionally, you can use a Joker in your combination to reach 30 points, with the Joker taking on the value of the card it replaces.
Rummy 51
Rummy 51 requires more finesse. To begin with, you must accumulate a minimum of 51 points before you can lay your cards on the table.
Moreover, among the cards you lay down, you must include a sequence of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, and no Jokers can be used in this sequence.

Rummy is quick to learn, and you'll be able to start enjoying it within minutes of reading these rules.
Simplified Rummy rules
A game of Rummy is played with two 52-card decks, plus two jokers, for a total of 108 cards (if there are six or more players, additional decks can be added).
There are many variations of Rummy, but the ones offered on Ludicash are the most common.
The goal of the game is to get rid of all your cards before your opponent by forming card combinations.
At the start of the game, the cards are dealt clockwise. Each player starts with 13 cards. The remaining cards are placed face-down on the table to form the deck.
The game is played in turns during a player's turn:
- Draw a card from the deck or the discard pile.
- Decide whether or not to place cards on the table if you have the necessary combinations.
- Discard a card to end your turn.
Rummy card combinations
The possible combinations are sets (or trips) and runs.
- Sets (Brelans): 3 identical cards of different suits.
- Quads (Squares): 4 identical cards of different suits. For example, a set of 10s consists of three 10s from different suits.
- Runs: A sequence of consecutive cards of the same suit. The order of cards is: A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2.
Depending on the variant chosen, a minimum number of points is required to lay down your card combinations.
Jokers
Four jokers are used in head-to-head Rummy games. They can be used for any combination.
For example, the use of a Joker in a sequence: ♠4 - ♠5 - Joker. In this case, the Joker represents the 6 of spades.
If your opponent has the ♠7 - ♠8, they can extend your sequence starting from the Joker.
However, it is not permitted to use more than one Joker in a three-card combination.
Counting the points
The round ends as soon as one player has laid down all their cards. Players who still have cards in hand receive penalty points.
Penalty points correspond to card values. Please refer to the card value table below.
Going Rummy
If a player lays down all their cards in the same turn, without using any of the cards already on the table, they perform a "Going Rummy." In this case, the opponent's points are doubled.
Improve your game with strategy!
While knowing the rules is certainly beneficial, adopting various tactics is necessary to improve and become an outstanding Rummy player.
For instance, it is crucial to remember which cards your opponent has discarded. If your opponent has discarded a 6 of hearts and you also have a 6 of hearts that is not useful in your combinations, discard it, as it is highly likely that your opponent won’t need it to complete one of their combinations.
To continue perfecting your Rummy skills, LudiCash offers a game viewer that allows you to review and analyze the games you’ve played, specially designed for tarot experts.
This tool will help you examine your opponents' playing styles.
